Abstract: To better integrate the decision progress with the technology of data warehouse, a mathematical description of the general problems decision-making process was proposed and the knowledge classification of decision domain based on the mathematical description was provided as well. Aiming at the research status of data warehouse decision-making, the concept of System Data Warehouse (SDW) was put forward, which was objective system-oriented and serves for the whole decision-making progress. Based on the generic decision progress, constitution, characteristics and construction method of SDW were discussed. Finally, an application example was provided.
