Abstract: The object-oriented idea was used for the product structure and configuration management. SSPD(Single source of product data) was served for substrate data. BOM (Bill of materials) model was presented，which was applied to the management of dynamic product structure and design flow of the series packing machine.The composition of basic BOM and the configuration management concept of product BOM enabler were put forward，and the different configuration rules were established.According to the different configuration rules of product，the BOM structure is established，and the product structure configuration management of the series packing machine is achieved.
