Abstract: The basic structure of Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI)in two-echelon supply chain was discussed, and the optimal decisions of supply chain members were analyzed under demand uncertainty. Then twice production and ordering mode was introduced, and changes of the members'optimal decisions were analyzed. Differences in optimal decisions under an integrated supply chain and under a decentralized supply chain were compared and analyzed. A revenue-sharing contract was introduced to optimize the performance of the supply chain under VMI. And impacts of unmet demand punishment on supply chain's optimal decisions were also discussed. Finally, the conclusion was demonstrated by a numerical example.
