Abstract: Aim at the issue of views consistency in multi-views modeling, a primary idea of views consistency research is put forward. Firstly, the views definition are introduced and the relationships among views are analyzed in detail. And then the rules of views consistency are discussed. Conditioning on these rules, an idea of clearing up some relationships during any of modeling phases is used to assure one path of relationship between any two views.Furthermore, a mechanism to realize views consistency is presented. Finally, the impacts of the consistency on the model defining, modeling steps, and multi users cooperative modeling are discussed.
