摘要: 作为企业一项重要的信息化战略,产品生命周期管理在近几年有了迅速的发展。然而,对产品全生命周期管理的概念、作用和内容等方面仍存在一些混淆。本文对国内外主要的产品生命周期管理进行了调研和分析,介绍了它的发展和研究状况。对于什么是产品全生命周期管理,其发展和产生背景如何,它在企业信息环境中处于什么样的角色和地位,包括哪些功能和关键技术,以及今后的发展趋势等进行了分析。

关键词: 产品生命周期, 产品生命周期管理, 产品定义, 企业信息化战略

Abstract: As a strategic business approach to enable product innovation, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) has been seen a substantial increase in the last years. Nevertheless, there are still some confusion on its concept, role, and contents. This paper aims to present the state of the art of PLM and attempts to survey the major international efforts in developing this emerging technology. Five questions can be answered in this paper: How and why PLM emergence? Whats PLM? How about its role? What are involved in PLM? And, how PLM technology is likely to develop over the coming years?
