Abstract: The development of aviation product often involves many people, complex technologies and long developing period. Therefore, it is difficult for IDEF3 or Gantt Chart to fully represent the accompanying information such as time, manpower and cost. To solve this? problem, a development progress plan method combining IDEF3 and Gantt Chart was proposed. Based on IDEF3, the process-centered process-flow diagram was introduced，which described the development progress and management information used for process analysis and optimization. Then, the Gantt Chart was presented to lay out visually the time parameters, and its characteristics were elaborated. Finally, an example was given to further explain schedule information and management messages.
