摘要: 针对规模和交互性日益增加的协同虚拟环境的不足,提出一种基于可更新队列和交互流传输协议的数据过滤方法。该方法解决了传统过滤方法对协同需求考虑不足的问题。首先根据协同虚拟环境网络传输信息(命令、事件和状态信息)各自的特点,把信息分成关键信息和非关键信息;然后利用可更新队列,根据网络状况对非关键信息进行自适应过滤,并用交互流传输协议对可更新队列中的信息进行传输。性能测试表明,该方法既满足了协同虚拟环境系统的可扩性需求,也满足了它的协同性需求。

Abstract: In order to deal with increasing demand from scale and interaction in Collaborative Virtual Environments (CVEs), a data filtering approach based on updateable queue and Interactive Stream Transport Protocol (ISTP) was proposed. Compared with traditional data filtering methods, the proposed approach focused more on collaborative requirements. The network transmission messages (including commands, events and state update messages) of CVEs were categorized into key messages and non-key messages. Then updateable queue was used to filter non-key messages adaptively according to network condition, and messages in updateable queue were transmitted through ISTP. Performance evaluation indicated that this approach could satisfy not only scalable but also collaborative requirements of CVEs.
