Prismatic parts 3D model retrieval based on local shape features extraction

基于局部特征提取的棱柱类零件三维模型检索

Abstract: Aiming at the 3D computer aided design models represented by Triangle meshes, a new method of local feature detection was proposed. Based on 3D model s extended gauss image, the mesh was segmented. The segmented areas which visualized from certain direction were connected by geodesic lines, and then a geodesic connected graph of feature areas was constructed according to the path of these geodesic lines. The geodesic connected graph was a shape representation method for local features on model surfaces. By using the geodesic connected graph as index, 3D CAD models were retrieved based on hash table mechanism. The experiment results proved that the proposed method was effective for CAD models of prismatic parts.

摘要: 针对三角网格表达的三维计算机辅助设计模型提出了一种新的表面局部特征检测方法,基于三维模型的扩展高斯图像对表面进行分割,采用测地线连接在某个方向可见的若干已分割区域,根据测地线的路径形成特征区域的测地连接图,该图是模型表面局部特征的一种形状表示。以测地连接图作为索引,基于散列表机制对三维模型进行检索。实验证明该方法对棱柱类零件的计算机辅助设计模型具有较好的检索效果。
