Abstract: To inherit and reuse the knowledge in flexible fixture design, and to enhance the efficiency and quality of fixture designs, knowledge engineering based flexible fixture design method was studied. The method converted traditional flexible fixture components into intelligent ones which could inherit and reuse design knowledge. The ontology model for geometry and process knowledge of flexible fixture components was established. The parametric feature modeling technology was utilized to build components geometric models on which functional and matching features were defined. The assembly modes among components and between components and workpieces were analyzed. The matching code was formed by defining convex-concave relationship of function and matching features. Workpiece's machining ontology model was established, and the layout design knowledge of ontology was applied to drive flexible fixture component intelligent designs. Intelligent flexible fixture component ontology model laid a foundation for realizing flexible fixture components'self-selection, self driven and self-assembly abilities.

摘要： 为继承与重用柔性夹具设计方法中的知识，提高夹具设计的效率与质量,研究了基于知识工程的柔性夹具设计方法，将传统柔性夹具元件转变为能够继承与重用设计知识的智能元件。首先对柔性夹具元件的几何知识和工艺知识建立本体模型。使用参数化特征建模技术建立元件几何模型，在几何模型上定义出功能特征与配合特征。分析元件之间、元件与工件之间的装配模式，定义功能/配合特征的凸凹关系形成配合编码。建立工件的加工本体模型，利用本体中布局设计知识驱动柔性夹具元件的智能设计。智能柔性夹具元件的本体模型为实现智能柔性夹具元件的自选择、自驱动与自装配能力奠定了基础。
